There is a level of anger and hatred in the world today that is hard to explain. I find it very disturbing when I read the vitriolic responses by some individuals to the social media posts of others on such topics as national politics or public health concerns around a pandemic. Have you experienced this yourself? In this VLOG entry I discuss some of the things which drove me to write the Caliphate trilogy - a series of counter terrorism books dealing with hatred on a scale that we in North America only began to really understand on September 11th, 2001.
